The Sn60Pb40 T3 solder powder is one of the classic tin-lead alloys for soldering processes in electronics and electrical engineering. With 60 % Tin and 40 % Lead this alloy combines good wetting properties with a stable melting range of approx. 183-190 °C. The T3 grit (25-45 µm) ensures clean paste rheology and reliable stencil prints. Sn60Pb40 has been a proven standard solder in a wide range of applications for decades.
Sn60Pb40 T3 is used in the Semiconductor Technology & Electronics especially for standard SMT assemblies, printed circuit boards and component connections with medium melting point and durability requirements.
Also in the Electrical engineering Sn60Pb40 offers reliable conductivity and easy processing for cables, connectors and assemblies.
In the Hard & soft soldering Sn60Pb40 T3 is used as a versatile soft solder that enables stable connections at moderate temperatures.
In the Automotive industry Sn60Pb40 T3 is used for control units, sensors and classic cable connections, where proven tin-lead solders are preferred.
Sn60Pb40 is a leaded solder. It is not subject to the RoHS specifications for lead-free electronics production and is therefore predominantly used in Special applications where the advantages of classic tin-lead alloys are required. NMD ensures that delivery only takes place in authorised areas of application.
Sn60Pb40 T3 solder powder is a proven standard solder for electronics, electrical engineering and classic SMT processes. With its balanced tin/lead ratio, stable melting ranges and good wettability, it offers a reliable solution for numerous applications. Further fields of application can be found in the Semiconductor Technology & Electronics and in the Electrical engineering.
